Girls’ Night Out

My friend, Laurie, and I celebrated our upcoming birthdays!
As Laurie says, the restaurant got larger, and the menu got smaller. But we still managed to close the place!

Yes. Yes. I have a Chia Pet.
Sometimes staycationing involves nothing more than staying home and watching the grass grow.

You know the snow has been around way too long, when you see something like this!

It’s so cold! I don’t think this snow is going anywhere for a while.

Yay! I woke up to another sale in my Endless Sunner shop! I love it when that happens.
This sea glass pendant is called “Beach Talisman”. According to the dictionary, a talisman is:
tal*is*man: a stone, ring, or other object whose presence exercises a remarkable or powerful influence on human feelings or actions
A good message for the New Year!

I became aware of something today called Project 365. Basically, it involves taking a picture a day. I think it’s a great idea! A way to chronicle things in my life, big or small. A way to look back, and ahead, at what’s important.
Plus, it’s a good way to (hopefully!) make me a better photographer, which will benefit this site, as well as my Endless Sunner site!
I’m a week late in starting Project 365, but better late than never! I haven’t had a diary of sorts since I was about 13, so this should be fun!
I start off today with a picture of my cat, Spot, as I prepare to take her to the vet. She hates the vet. Hard to believe that she can be anything but the sweet furball pictured above, but the sounds she makes during a vet visit are like a scene straight out of “The Excorcist”.
Be sure to check these out!
